GigaTrust Tip - Using GigaTrust File Protection

Utilize GigaTrust to protect files that you plan to transmit using an instant messaging service, an email service, a floppy disk, or other mechanism. Simply right-click on the files and then select GigaTrust > Protect to create a protected copy of the files.

GigaTrust file protection is provided free of charge to customers who have purchased a GigaTrust Desktop Client account.

1. Right-click a file

2. Select options

3. File is protected

Notes:

Protect any type of file including special handling of: .doc, .xls, .ppt, .pps, .wpd, .rtf, .txt, .gif, .png, .jpg, .bmp, .tif, .htm, .mht, .qpw, and .pdf.
Select a template that you have created (such as Company Confidential) or select specific users with specific permissions.
Send file using email, instant messaging, thumb drive, floppy disk, or other mechanism.
