Architecture Components

GigaTrust for Web Servers can be implemented alongside existing web server implementations. A list of core components is described below:

GigaTrust for Web Servers Software
Applies content security policies to content as it leaves the web server. Allows an administrator to set rules, establish templates, and manage team members. Requirements provided below.

Microsoft Windows Rights Management Server
A premium add-on to the Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition which provides the underlying content security technology. Details regarding configuration can be obtained from the Microsoft Windows Server Site.

Client Computer Environment
Operating system upgrades and signed applications provide trusted viewing capabilities. To view protected content, customers may use Office 2003 or Office 2007, the GigaTrust Viewer, or an add-on for Internet Explorer (6.0).

The minimum requirements for GigaTrust for Web Servers is as follows:

64MB RAM
10MB available hard disk space
Monitor display resolution 800x600, 15-bit (32,768) color minimum

Server Software Requirements
Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 5.0 or later
Microsoft Windows RMS Client SP2
Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable

System Requirements - Client Computer

The minimum requirements for a client computer are as follows:

Windows Vista, XP SP1 or later, 2000 SP3 or later

Client Software Requirements
Microsoft Windows RMS Client SP2
Internet Explorer 6.0 or later browser - with Rights Management
Add-on or the GigaTrust Viewer for more advanced viewing features
