GigaTrust Names Vice President of Commercial and International Sales

Gerard Biggs brings more than two decades of sales success

HERNDON, VA. September 12, 2007— GigaTrust (also known as GigaMedia Access Corporation), the Intelligent Rights Management™ products and services company for corporate e-mail and content security, today announced the appointment of Gerard Biggs as Vice President of Commercial and International Sales. Biggs is responsible for expanding and managing the company's commercial and international sales organization to drive GigaTrust revenues and reports to Robert Bernardi, president and CEO.

Biggs brings more than 25 years of information technology sales and executive sales management experience to GigaTrust. He started his career as a sales representative at Boeing Computer Services (BCS) in the late 1970s, and he most recently served in an executive sales position at Mercury Interactive (which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard), an enterprise software application company. Additionally, Biggs previously held sales management positions at ClearCube Technologies, Oracle, SAP, and Unisys Corporation. His skills include business development, competitive business strategy, and building successful sales organizations.

Biggs holds a BS in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
