Getting Started Guide

Your software is installed, start Outlook and you are ready to begin authoring secure email.

If using a corporate RMS server, GigaTrust authentication is not required. You will obtain your Rights Management certificates automatically from your own RMS server.

If your enterprise content is managed by GigaTrust’s Enterprise Plus product, you will be prompted to authenticate the next time that you (1) start Outlook, or (2) start your computer. To authenticate, enter your GigaTrust account (your Email address) and password. Select Remember my password to skip this step in the future.

1. Start Outlook

Start Outlook to get the log-in window.

2. Authenticate
     (managed service only)

If using a GigaTrust managed service, enter your account and password. Check 'Remember my password' to bypass this step in the future.

3. Click to Protect

Click the 'Protected Mail Message' button in the GigaTrust toolbar.
